The German Cycling Federation (BDR) won a handful of medals at the European Cycling Championships in Switzerland, with Lea Sophie Friedrich winning gold in Keirin.

In one of the toughest races in the world, the 12-hour race at the Sebring International Raceway in Florida, USA, DTM specialist Bruno Spengler finishes with P2.
