The Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro (FIP) is the national governing body for basketball in Italy. Headquartered in Rome, the FIP oversees all aspects of the sport across the country, including professional and amateur leagues, youth development programs, coaching education, and referee training. It organizes national competitions and championships, manages Italy’s national teams, and represents Italian basketball in international competitions such as the World and European Championships, World Cup, and the Summer Games.
Following the successful FitLine partnerships within Italian basketball — including collaborations with clubs such as Reyer Venezia Mestre — it was a natural next step to expand this commitment to the national level. Building on proven impact at club level, FitLine is proud to support Italian Basketball on the international stage and aid the long-term development of national team athletes.
